"G" is for Goody Bags

Goody Bags for buddy boy's Valentine's Day party at school.

Here's how I made them:

Using some leftover drop cloth I cut up rectangles for the bags and lots of hearts from scrap red fabrics:

Hearts sewn on with zig zag stitch:

Bags complete:

The kids made an assembly line with all the fillings:

playdough, heart crayons, M&Ms

We attached the banner with a tiny heart clip to close the bag:

Hope buddy's classmates like them!

How cute! I think the little clothespin is my favorite part, but I'm a sucker for applique, too. Hope you don't mind that I linked to your project in my "Lovey Dovey Roundup"--> http://dancingcommas.blogspot.com/2012/02/lovey-dovey-round-up.html
