"F" is for Football

Football cake pops made especially for the Superbowl.

Cake pops seem to be everywhere now.

I wanted to make something a little special for the game with our neighbors.

And I cannot take credit for this idea at all.
In fact I'm sure many, many people made these football pops for today.

I used Jamie's idea found here on her blog love and butter.
Hers are much more professional looking then mine for sure.

We started with cake crumbs and frosting mixed together and made into balls, thank you girl #1.
Then shaped them and added the sticks:

Dipped in chocolate and added the stripes:

I used a piece of styrofoam wrapped with green tissue for our "field":

A fun treat for us and our friends.
