"O" is for Orders

Painted sign orders are coming fast and furious.

(Gifted Hands is the designer co-op shop where I used to sell items.)

I love making all the custom request ideas come to life and I do try to blog about each item but lately I've made so many handpainted signs in addition to those that already have their own post I thought I'd share.

The painting technique I use is always the same.

And for some reason this picture below of the technique from a old post made it to the front page of Pinterest, not sure how that happened? but it sure sent quite a bit of traffic my way.  Thank you.

I cannot take credit for all the creative ideas, it really is a collaboration between the customer and me, in the end we get a finished product that works for everyone.

I think it's great you get to do shop signs, too. They look like a lot of fun.
