"C" is for Candy Free DIY Valentines

diy candy free valentines ideas

Valentine's Day is fast approaching and every year I try to come up with handmade valentines for my kids classmates that don't involve candy.  I know for certain there will be tons of candy given out so I aim to make a valentine that's candy free.

Here are 4 candy free DIY valentine ideas:

diy heart zipper pouch valentine

The cutest little goody bag made from drop cloth and gingham.  Get over your zipper fears and make these for all those classmates, see how to here.

diy individual chalkboard valentines

A personal little chalkboard to hang anywhere made from inexpensive chipboard cut outs and chalkpaint.  Attach a piece of chalk then write your favorite valentine message.  See how I made these here.

diy pencil holder valentines

Wood scrap lovers this valentine is for you!  Two pieces of scrap wood is all it takes to make these super cute pencil holders.  Get all the details for my favorite valentines here.

diy drop cloth goody bag valentines

Another goody bag idea with a simple heart appliqued to the front of drop cloth bags.  Two seams is all it takes to stitch up these cuties then just fold over the top, fill and clip closed.  Details here.
